Pregnancy After Tubal Ligation

Is Pregnancy Possible After Tubal Ligation?
Is pregnancy after tubal ligation possible? I get asked this question many times from women
who have had their fallopian tubes surgically tied, and are now looking to get pregnant with
herbal remedies. Here is my answer: If you have had a tubal ligation in the past and you've
changed your mind about having children, you must have a tubal ligation reversal first. This is
a complicated surgical procedure which involves a surgeon cutting away parts of the fallopian
tubes that have been surgically fused together, to create a open fallopian tube.In short, natural
remedies cannot open up your fallopian tubes if you have had them surgically closed. However,
they can help you increase your chances of conceiving once yours have been surgically reopened.

Choosing Between IVF and Tubal Reversal - Pregnancy After Tubal Ligation

When it comes to information about pregnancy after tubal ligation, women are often given incorrect data. While it appears that there is only one valid option when it comes to getting pregnant after having your tubes tied, this is actually not the case.
Women have their tubes tied for a variety of different reasons. Sometimes they decide they just don't want to have any children while other women have children and decide they are finished. There might be an abusive relationship which causes a woman to decide not to have any more kids as well. No matter what the reason, thousands of women have their tubes tied in the United States every year. Many women have it done right after having a baby.
While many women are happy with their decision to have their tubes tied, there are a large number of women who regret the decision. For a woman who has had her tubes tied right after having a baby, often her hormones are playing a role and she bows to pressure from others. She may decide later that she's made a big mistake. If that is the case, there are a couple of options.
Certainly, one option for a pregnancy after tubal ligation is for a woman to have in vitro fertilization. However, IVF is not a procedure that can be done on just anyone. There are specific hormones that need to be given in order to have the best chance of success when it comes to IVF. Those hormones can have their own risks as the purpose of some is to hyper stimulate your ovaries. Others are used to make the body ready to receive the fertilized egg or embryo. You should be sure this is your best alternative.
In addition, this procedure can be quite expensive as couples have to do it cycle after cycle to make it successful. As a cycle can be more than one month in duration, this is why we have used this notation. There is no one hundred percent guarantee that a woman will become pregnant using in vitro fertilization, or any alternative for that matter, so she can be throwing her money out the window if it doesn't work. In fact, most cycles do not result in a pregnancy, much less a baby. However, there is an alternative that does have a much better success rate over time.
This alternative which a woman can use when it comes to pregnancy after tubal ligation is having a tubal reversal procedure. This little-known procedure is only done by a small number of doctors because it isn't being generally taught in medical school or residencies.
These doctors who perform tubal reversals are highly specialized and you should seek to have a surgeon who specializes in tubal reversal surgery, not a clinic which also offers IVF. This procedure allows a woman the possibility to become pregnant during any month unlike IVF. It is also less expensive on average which may explain why more doctors do IVF than tubal reversal. This also explains why a clinic which offers both may (will) push you toward IVF as your chance for a pregnancy after tubal ligation.
Using the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is your best chance for pregnancy after tubal ligation. Not only did the lead surgeon pioneer the out patient procedure which only takes about an hour, tubal reversal is all this clinic offers. They perform this tubal surgery several times a day. You can also get the procedure done for a lower price than many other doctors with less experience offer. Check them out today at their website at tubal-reversal.net/

4 Factors Affecting Pregnancy After Tubal Reversal Surgery

There are many factors which will need to be taken into consideration by a woman after tubal reversal surgery has been carried and she is looking to conceive. Certainly for some women once the procedure has been carried out they find they become pregnant quite quickly afterwards, but for others it will take some time. There are a number of different factors a woman will need to consider in relation to her pregnancy after tubal reversal actually being successful.

Probably the first thing to consider when considering getting pregnant whether having had your tubes tied or not has to do with age. Even if a woman has not undergone a tubal ligation, the older she is the more likely it will be that she will have a problem conceiving. This is just a fact of life, though you will have heard of some women getting pregnant at what some would consider an advanced age. It just boils down to the younger you are when having your tubal reversal surgery, the higher the probability of getting pregnant after tubal reversal is done.

A twenty-something woman will find her chances of conceiving after tubal reversal is about 77%. As you get older the probability drops as we stated before. A female that is between thirty-five and thirty-nine finds the probability falls to 62%. For a woman over forty, the conception rate falls even further to 34%.

The next factor that plays a part in getting pregnant after a tubal ligation reversal procedure is how long the fallopian tubes were left from the original tube tying procedure. The more the doctor has to work with the better the chances are. Some will find they conceive quickly but others will take five years or more. The condition of the fallopian tubes, the length they were left and thus what the doctor has left to reconnect, and how well they are reconnected all play a part in how soon you can get pregnant and what your chances of getting pregnant are.

How long since the tubal ligation surgery was carried out? - Unfortunately the longer a woman waits in order to get her tubal ligation procedure reversed will greatly reduce her chances of being able to conceive easily. This is because the longer they wait the more damage will have been caused to their fallopian tubes, which in turn reduces the chances of the operation actually being successful.

Is Tubal Reversal a better option than IVF? - In a number of studies that have been carried out over the years relating to this matter, many women have found that having tubal reversal surgery rather than under going IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment has been more successful.

One such study from the Chapel Hill Reversal Center, where they keep excellent track of their patients, it was discovered that the women who had the tubal reversal done, instead of the IVF treatments, conceived more easily. In addition, the number of actual babies born after they became pregnant, was higher for the tubal reversal surgery than for those who underwent IVF. Even better is that the reversal surgery is done generally on an outpatient basis with only about an hour in surgery thus lowering the cost of this treatment versus the IVF treatment which can take many tries.

All these items above need to be considered when you are making your decision concerning tubal ligation reversal. Keep it all in mind when you are looking at pregnancy after tubal reversal as any of the factors, or indeed all of the factors, could have an impact on your ability to conceive and have the child you are dreaming of. However, the factors affect you, this could still be your best bet.

Tubal Ligation Reversal - Pregnancy After Reversal of Tubal Ligation

Can natural remedies for blocked fallopian tubes help you to conceive if you have had a tubal ligation? The answer is no. You will need a tubal ligation reversal.

Simply put, if you've had your tubes surgically tied, and you would like to conceive, the only way to have a baby other than IVF is by having a tubal ligation reversal.

Tubal ligation is a surgical procedure that permanently sterilizes women, and involves surgically closing the fallopian tubes, in order to prevent an egg from being fertilized by sperm.

It is considered a permanent form of contraception, with some methods achieving a 99.99% success rate. Although the reasons for having this surgery can vary, many women are not informed that it cannot be easily reversed if they change their minds about having children in the future.

While tubal ligation is a simple procedure, the reversal is more complicated. The surgeon essentially cuts away the parts of the fallopian tube that is fused together in order to open it, and then reconnects it using microsurgical techniques.

The tubal ligation reversal will result in shorter fallopian tubes, but if it is successful, the woman should have open and functional fallopian tubes.

A tubal ligation reversal is not always 100% successful. This is because the fallopian tubes are extremely small and very complex in structure. They consist of several layers of tissue, including muscle, connective tissue, and fimbria. The fimbria are the hair-like projections that propel the egg towards the uterus to assist conception.

Some women develop scar tissue in the fallopian tubes after surgery, which can form adhesions, and block the fallopian tubes again. In order to prevent scar tissue from occurring, you will need to take a herbal supplement to support the healing of the delicate tissues of the tubes, such as FalloClear.

If it's too late, and you've already developed scar tissue as a result of your tubal ligation reversal, or you've had the reversal surgery done and you're still not pregnant, you may be able to clear your fallopian tubes naturally with a 7-step process for unblocking the tubes.

This 7-step process involves the use of herbal tampons and a chamomile douche, to soften the scar tissue and adhesions, Chinese Fertility Massage, which doubles the effect of the herbal tampons, and Fertility Yoga, for invigorating the tubes, and stretching the scar tissue and adhesions apart.

There is also the herbal supplement I mentioned earlier to increase healing and reduce scarring and adhesions, body cleansing, to boost overall fertility, natural vitamin and mineral supplements, which also help healing and fertility, and finally a stress relief CD for relaxing the fallopian tubes, and preventing spasms.
